Morgan's 28th Birthday

Happy 28th Birthday Morgan my love!

This is what Mo woke up to when he opened our bedroom door. I let him sleep in really late then Ky and me went and woke him up to see his surprise.

Money and sweet notes that lead to his Birthday present!
Morgan lost his watch that he had only had for a month while he was helping his brother and sister in law move out over a year ago. While he was there it got left along with his brand new shoes outside. Someone had stole them... Very sad for Mo : ( He just loved that watch and was so upset about it. I had been looking for a long time for that watch and couldn't find it and I wasn't exactly sure what it looked like. All I had to look at were some family pics takin right after he got it. I didn't have a very good close up of the watch. So I thought I finally found one that looked just like it. I got it like 5 months before his birthday and I was so excited to give it to him. He was always talking about that watch ( he's a watch guy). So he opened it up and was so excited. It was so nice making him so happy. He was like a little kid.

We went to Market Street grill for brunch. It was delish! We love going there for brunch.

I love this picture of Kyran! He has the cutest smile : )

Showing off his watch. This is the watch he has really missed.

I have to say I was pretty proud of myself for making this cake. I made it all homemade. It was a chocolate cake with this yummy fluffy buttery frosting. It was so good and I had many compliments. I don't really want to have boxed cake again after tasting how much better it was then boxed. I'm not very artistic so I was so happy the way it turned out. I wish I took after my mom in this area. I'm not very good at freehand but It turned out great. I was very surprised. I was afraid I would ruin it.

He just loved his cake!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

It was nice to have the family over.

Ky's first Jazz game

We finally took Kyran to his first Jazz game on 11/3/10. They played the Raptors and the Jazz won! He did pretty good throughout the whole game. He liked watching the game and everyone around him . I'm so glad we bought these ear muffs though. He doesn't like loud noises. So when we first got these I sat down then they started announcing the players and then have fireworks go off. He was fine until the Jazz Bear started roaring his motorcycle. He started crying. I hadn't had a chance to put his ear muffs on yet cause I had to bring him in by myself while Morgan parked. We kept them on him most of the game. He kept trying to rip them off his head. He really didn't like when people around him would scream and yell. It would make him start crying. He's always been like this though. He hates loud noises! We've experienced this at home a few time. But in all he did very good with staying up almost 2 hours past his bedtime. I don't know if we will be taking him to another one for awhile. It was so fun to take him but I couldn't watch much of the game. Next we need to buy him a jersey.

Happy Halloween 2010

I am so far behind on blogging... I hate when this happens. I don't know why I always do this. I wish I would just do it one by one and not all at once. I love to be able to look back on past posts, so I need to keep it up. Hopefully this will still be around when my kids are all grown up so they can look back at themselves growing up.

Kyran's first Halloween was fun! He dressed up as a teddy bear. I think he looked so stinkin cute! We took him to my parents wards trunk or treat. He got tons of candy. He couldn't eat really any of it but just to have him do it was fun. He liked looking at everyone and all the kids dressed up. Next year he will understand it a little more. We had donuts and hot chocolate before it started pouring rain on us. It rained a lot on Halloween this year. We wanted to take him to a few houses with his cousin Harlie but we didn't want to with the rain. Maybe next year. After that we went to my parents house and got pizza and hung out. My parents had some fun games for the kids. It's so much more fun having a kid for the holidays. It just makes it so much more fun!

Watching his favorite Baby Einsteins "First Moves" before we took him trunk or treating.

He just loves watching it. We need to get him more. We can't keep him on the couch anymore be his self. He has fallen off a few times and still just doesn't understand. No parent likes to see there child fall.
